Welcome  to Misson Primary

We are located in a village on the banks of the River Idle close to the town of Bawtry. The school has about 90 students who come from a wide geographical area. At Misson, we emphasise individual student progress within a caring school community. We offer breakfast and after-school clubs to make life easier for families and provide a range of extracurricular activities to make school life more fun and engaging for students. We also work closely with Misson Pre-School to enable a smooth transition to primary school. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions about our school

Vision and Aims

At Misson, we value each child as an individual, with his or her own potential, interests and talents. We help each child to engage with their learning so that they can enjoy school life and take pride in their growth. We have high expectations for our pupils’ progress and behaviour, supported by small class sizes and high teacher-to-student ratios. We provide a wide variety of activities to extend students’ learning experiences and develop their interest and involvement in sports and music and other areas. Our aim is to grow confident children who are well prepared not only for the next step in their education but also for their wider future.
